The article analyses the economic integration process of Japan since the second world war, especially the current period. The article also points out the basic achievements of Japan in integrating into the global economy. From the above research, the article proposes some lessons learned for Vietnam in the world economic integration. The most important lessons learned is that based on the circumstances of the country to choose the appropriate model. At the same time, Vietnam needs to take advantage of all favorable conditions to integrate and develop the country in the current period.

Nigeria is currently bewildered with lots of challenges which are negatively affecting all the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the attained in 2030. This paper attempts to bring to the fore these challenges and how students’ awareness and exploration of hope through Literature-in-English could serve as an antidote. It also presents various reasons Literature –in- English students should be advocates of sustainable development by inculcating right values and attitudes in bringing hope to the down trodden in the society at their different levels. It also reveals the need for poets, literary writers, artists, individuals, society, leaders, followers, curriculum planners and government to produce literary pieces that will enlighten Literature-in- English students about the change for development to both the oppressed and the oppressors. Students develop positive attitudes, right emotions, good moral values to bring hope to the hopeless in the society and orientating the society that all hope for better Nigeria is not lost. This can help to reduce rate of criminalities, morbidity and mortality, and insecurity across the states and making our leaders to act promptly to do the right things at the right time. Based on this overview, it is recommended that literary texts that teach good human relationship, discipline and national values among the leaders and the led should be recommended for Literature- in –English students as a driving force towards SDG 2030

The ultimate goal of this paper is to provide a comparative analysis of Sorry for and Sorry about in the COCA and BNC. When it comes to the COCA, it is interesting to point out that the types Sorry for and Sorry about show the same pattern in the TV/movie and fiction genres and the academic genre, whereas they show a different pattern in the blog, web, magazine, newspaper genres and the spoken genre. With respect to the BNC, it is significant to note that Sorry for and Sorry about show the same pattern in the fiction genre and the spoken genre, whereas they show a different pattern in the newspaper and magazine genres and the misc, non-academic and academic genres. It can thus be inferred that these two types are synonymously used, but they are slightly different from each other in their use. A major point to note that in the COCA, Sorry for is the furthest type from Sorry about in the TV/movie genre, whereas Sorry for is the nearest type to Sorry about in the academic genre. A further point to note is that in the BNC, Sorry for is the furthest type from Sorry about in the spoken genre, whereas Sorry for is the nearest type to Sorry about in the academic genre. The COCA clearly shows that Sorry for people is the most preferable one for Americans, followed by Sorry for Mr., Sorry for me, and Sorry for Mrs., in that order. The COCA shows, on the other hand, that Sorry about dinner is the most preferable one for Americans, followed by Sorry about lunch, Sorry about Mr., Sorry about agent, and Sorry about that, in descending order. This in turn suggests that Sorry about and Sorry for are interchangeably used, but they are somewhat different from each other in their use.

Studying the implications of literary language is an interesting field of study as its focal analyses are the sophisticated linguistic features used consciously or unconsciously by the authors. Concerning the focus of this paper, the talent of Jane Austen is evident in the domain of literary linguistics. Reviewing the previous literature proves excessive scrutiny of the chief young couples, namely Elizabeth and Darcy. Given that, the present article sheds light on the conversations between the old couple in Pride and Prejudice Mr. and Mrs. Bennet from a pragmatic perspective. The analysis focuses on the very first conversation between the couple as being representative of their relationship. This analysis employs two major pragmatic concepts the various types of Austins speech acts as defined by Cutting 2002 and Grice s maxims 1975. Of the thirty-one utterances analyzed in the targeted conversation, 20 are by Mrs. Bennet and 11 by Mr. Bennet. Mrs. Bennets most frequent speech act is the representative whereas that of Mr. Bennet is the directive. Both violate the maxims, but Mrs. Bennet violates that of quantity as being talkative, unlike Mr. Bennet who violates quality and relation maxims. These analyses demonstrate the misunderstanding and deep psychological gap between Mr. and Mrs. Bennet inferred through their linguistic exchange.

One of the lessons taught by the Covid 19 epidemic experience is that the world physical streets, schools, markets, places of worship and other environments for human physical interactions could self-shutdown for months in order for man to preserve its existence. As the physical world was, literarily speaking, systematically shutting down in the year 2020, due to the rapid spreading of Covid 19, the digital world was gaining momentum, more citizens and expanding its usefulness and usage. Online streets where people could meet and interest were enlarged, many schools were opened in the digital world, markets became common feature online, places of worship became normal and meetings of all kind were held online, courts proceedings, movies premiere, dating, training… life simply moved into the digital world. This actuality unlined the importance of access to internet as the door to the digital world and instigated this article. This library-based research examines, in the main, the correlations between the basic human rights and right of access to the digital world via the internet. The study also suggests that right of access internet access encompasses the fundamental rights of freedom information, freedom of association and other basic human rights that are constitutionally protected by domestic laws of nations. The study also takes a peep at concept tagged as Internet of things IoT, supports the debate that digital right is a distinct right that needs specific protection and argues that digital right enjoyment and enforcement are not limited to natural persons alone. The study concludes by emphasising the need to design international legal regime that will internationally protect the all-importance digital right of citizens from domestic interference by municipal authorities of nation states.

Ethnolinguistics is the study of the relationship between language facts and cultural facts. Ethnolinguistics is theoretically known as linguistic anthropology or anthropological linguistics Duranti, 1997:1. The geographical location in this study is a group of Orang Rimba who still maintain the tradition of livelihood that is taking honey Nyialong. This area locates in Air Hitam subdistrict, Sarolangun district of Jambi Province. In addition, the food needs of the Orang Rimba come from forest products, namely climbing sialang Nyialong, hunting, and fruits. Other forest products are used for commercial purposes and are the livelihood of the Orang Rimba. The study aims to describe the cultural meaning of the Nyialong tradition found in the Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas TNBD Jambi. Nyialong tradition is done ny Orang Rimba in Taman Nasional Bukit Duableas as annual season petahuon. The tradition is held by Orang Rimba especially Piawang and dukun.The study is qualitative descriptive that uses an ethnolinguistics approach by utilizing the ethnographic method. The data in this study is a verbal and non-verbal expression reflected in Nyialong tradition. The data source in this study comes from the informants and the events of the tradition. Data collection methods use interview and observation methods. The result of the investigations in the form of Cultural values in the Nyialong tradition include nature, human relationship with human, and human with God. Nyialong tradition also has a symbolic meaning as a form 1 of the offering of the god rapa, the god hariamau to beg for salvation to climb sialang 2 as an intermediary to ask for salvation to god Alah, 3 as a symbol of maintaining the sustainability of the forest of the Orang Rimba Jambi.

This research goal was to find out the Government Policy on Establishing the Status of Free Papua Organization Organisasi Papua Merdeka OPM or known as separatism in Papua through Law No. 5 of 2018 on Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism. The policy aims to soak up the situation of conflict in Papua caused by separatism. The research method used in this research was normative juridical with the type of research conducted was legal research to seek and discover the principles and rules that regulate status, which was to be presented as a match between the rule of law and legal norms. The results of the research show that the governments actions through issuing a policy establishing the status of the Free Papua Organization or known as separatism as terrorism. The policy was also issued without looking at the factors or motives for the emergence of separatism in Papua. This determination will certainly have an impact on the actions of the apparatus who abuse their power, which in fact does not solve the problem in Papua, but will lead to human rights violations.

Although Universal Health Coverage UHC is of the expectation that health services whether promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative or palliative, are of sufficient quality to be effective WHO, 2010, there has been a common phenomenon in most health communities to find patients moving from one health service facility to another in search for better quality of services, which is defined by their expectation from the health institution and the perception after receiving the health services. Shisong hospital in Kumbo East Health District, Bui Division of the Northwest Region of Cameroon is no exception to these experiences, given that it competes with other health instructions in, around and away from Kumbo. While some patients perceive that the quality of services of Shisong hospital meet their expectations, some perceive that they are yet to receive a commensurate quality of services from Shisong hospital. It was important to find out if the ways employees of Shisong hospital respond and empathise with clients relate the expectations and perception of clients. And investigation was done by administering a unique close ended questionnaire to 425 clients who have used the services of Shisong hospital to test the relationship between their expectation and satisfaction with these two facets of service quality, Responsiveness and Empathy in this hospital through some sub derivatives. Correlation analysis showed that there is a moderate significant relationship between employee responsiveness with clients and customer satisfaction, and a strong significant relationship between employee empathy with clients and customer satisfaction. Based on responsiveness and empathy, service quality in Shisong hospital has been described as satisfactory The study recommends that the hospital should improve on these facets of service quality responsiveness and empathy, given that customer satisfaction falls below their expectations, especially by raising customer perception to be very satisfactory, in match with the common expectation that has been very good

This study aims to determine the profile of teachers pedagogic content knowledge PCK through PCK measurement management. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The respondents of this study were 105 science teachers at junior high schools in DKI Jakarta who were taken by random sampling. Teacher PCK is measured through 5 five domains, namely curriculum, pedagogy, subject matter, students, and schools, which are arranged in 66 test and non-test instruments. Data collection techniques were carried out through the distribution of test and non-test instruments with a Likert scale. The results of the validity and reliability test with the Pearson and Cronbachs alpha correlation test showed that the instrument was proven to be valid and reliable. The usability and significance test results show consistent and useful results. The results showed that most of the science teachers PCK was very high, while the very low was less than 2%. Teachers PCK levels are also influenced by educational strata, age, and seniority. The recommendation of this research is to provide training on making PCK instruments for teachers, as an effort to optimize the knowledge of science teachers in increasing the PISA scores of Indonesian students.

Poverty is a problem faced by many developing countries in general. Poverty is a reflection of the economic activities carried out by a country. The poverty level of a country shows that the development programs implemented by the government are not optimal. This study was conducted to analyze the determinants of poverty in 10 provinces on the island of Sumatra from 2006-2019. Multiple regression equation models were built for this research using the Ordinary Least Squares OLS method with the e-views 8 tool. The results show that simultaneously, the independent variable has a significant effect on poverty and partially one variable that does not significantly affect poverty, namely unemployment. An increase in education literacy rate and infrastructure road length leads to an increase in poverty and inequality in income distribution the Gini Index, resulting in a decrease in poverty. It is hoped that future researchers will use education, infrastructure, and income distribution variables with different proxies.

Why? Perhaps, it is the attitudes of Jesus disciples. In most of our Churches is this not the common attitude of some of our pastors? The aim of the mathematics curriculum at the senior secondary stage is to provide students with an appreciation of the wide variety of the application of mathematics and equip them with the basic tools that enable such application. A careful choice between the often conflicting demands of depth versus breadth needs to be made at this stage. The rapid explosion of mathematics as a discipline, and of its range of application, favors an increase in the breadth of coverage. Such an increase must be dictated by mathematical considerations of the importance of topics to be included. Topics that are more naturally the province of other disciplines may be left out of the mathematics curriculum. The treatment of topics must have an objective, that is, the communication of mathematical insights and concepts, which naturally arouse the interest and curiosity of students. On the basis of her long experience as a Mathematics School teacher as well as a teacher educator, the author observed that the mathematics curriculum at Class XI includes many interesting topics like sets, relations & functions, sequences and series, linear inequalities, and many more interesting topics. These topics can give good mathematical insight to students but these are typically short shrift. Public Sectors around the world face constant demand in increasing efficiency and productivity. The pressure to improve service delivery particularly during this pandemic demands the public sector to provide more with less. Being subjected to mandates from the government, public scrutiny and compliance to legal system, public sector organisations are in constant pressure to perform above average, reform outdated process and deliver the best results with fewer resources. Adding to this, increasing demand has become the general expectation where the needs for customisable services based on the current lifestyle of the civil society or described as the 24/7 societyrequires services to be available and accessible at all times. Therefore, public sector innovation agenda often focused in national level policy and initiatives. However, the innovation landscape remains an understudied terrain especially in Malaysian Public Sector. Capitalising on little existing insights, this study further expands the knowledge base by analysing underlying driving factors in innovation performance measurement from a Business Model Perspective for a more contemporary model discovery. Utilising Structural Equation Modelling technique, this study analysed responds from 328 middle managers within government agencies and organisation and revealed that the Malaysian Public Sector innovation management still depends on innovation capabilities both as a factor and mediator in influencing innovation performance greater than innovation management which has been the focus. The study found that there is a dire need for an organisation level model to improve the innovation performance in public sector agencies by focusing on both innovation capabilities and innovation management to ensure an excellent governance and delivery system being implemented effectively.

E-Learning is one of technology applications that uses in education. E-Learning can be used as a method of learning process which can be adjusted with the limitation of lectures and students. E-Learning is also an important technology to improve human resource quality in education institution. One of the factors that determined the successfulness of technology adoption is the acceptance by the users. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of Technology Readiness Index TRI and Technology Acceptance Model toward the intention of using Edmodo by undergraduate students in STIE Malangkucecwara Malang. Data were collected from 165 students and analyzed used linear regressing. Result of this study showed that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of used variables influenced the intention of using Edmodo in STIE Malangkucecwara Malang.

The purpose of this study was to engage learners and teachers with the aim of developing leadership potential and improving the leadership capacity and capabilities of the learner leaders through mainly Change Laboratory Workshops, which were conducted with the Learner Representative Council LRC members, at a public secondary school in the Oshana Region, Namibia. The study was guided by the following main question How can learner leadership structure be improved in schools The researchers used a researcher-interventionist approach to implement measures for improving learner leadership, guided by the ideals of the Cultural Historical Activity Theory CHAT, as a theoretical lens through which the researchers made interventions for improving learner leadership at school. Empirically, the study made use of a qualitative research methodology carried out through a case study design. The population consisted of teachers and learners of the case study school. The data was collected by questionnaires, interviews, document analysis, observation and journaling. The data was analysed thematically, interpreted and discussed inductively. Key findings reveals that even though the concept of learner leadership was familiar within the school environment, the concept was not optimally applied, which necessitated intervention for correct application and positive results. Change Laboratory workshops provided ideal opportunities through which learner leaders were engaged to map out the challenges they were faced with and advancing policy proposals for improvement. Learner leaders were open to reveal the support they were not receiving from teachers and appealed on teachers to provide much needed support. This is in addition to a need for teachers to make follow-ups on matters reported to them by learner leaders in order to instill confidence and trust among learner leaders. It is recommended that researchers in the field of leadership especially with focus on young leaders should always model their research on researcher interventionist approach in order to help improve the quality of young leaders in schools.

The E-Commerce progress during the Covid-19 pandemic, has had an impact on the emergence of many startup companies such as Tokopedia, Gojek, Traveloka, and Bukalapak. There are legal problems caused by the emergence of these start-ups. One of the serious problems it causes is maintaining consumer privacy from start-up companies. A large number of applications are used, making it easier for companies to obtain their consumers data. This raises the possibility of leakage of consumer personal data, the possibility that will arise needs to be considered regarding the guarantee of transaction security and privacy, namely the protection of consumer personal data which can cause problems in the future if data leaks occur. The discussion in this article is how the problems with consumer personal data in start-up companies are and how important the Law on personal data protection is as an effort to protect consumer personal data for start-up companies. However, Indonesia still does not have a law that specifically regulates the protection of personal data, where this law is urgently needed at this time as a legal umbrella for the people of Indonesia.

This research objective was to determine the effect of training with blended project-based learning on the lecturers competence in developing teaching materials. The research participants consisted of 15 lecturers. The research method was a weak experimental by comparing the results of the participants pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique of this research used N-gain of the pretest and posttest. The results showed that the N-gain score of 63.61% was classified as medium. Training with blended project-based learning for lecturers had a significant effect in increasing the competence of developing teaching materials. Blended project-based learning could increase the participation and the trainees positive attitude.

This study was designed to assess the economic and socio-cultural factors that affect the performance of women entrepreneurs of Cumilla city as well as Bangladesh. It also addressed the characteristics of women entrepreneurs and the supports they acquire from the surroundings. A sample of 60 women entrepreneurs engaged in different sectors was taken for the study using stratified and simple random sampling. In the process of answering the basic questions, a questionnaire that include demographic profiles, characteristics of women entrepreneurs and their enterprises, factors that affect the performance of women entrepreneurs was designed in both open and closed ended questions. After the data has been collected, it was analyzed using simple statistical techniques tables and percentages and descriptive statistics mean and standard deviations and F-Test Two-Sample for Variances. In F-Test Two-Sample for Variances, P value is 0.035433248 which is less than 0.05 P<0.05 which means that there is difference between variance of two factors in women entrepreneurship. The difference between the two variances is statistically significant. This condition indicates that the sample provides strong enough evidence to conclude that the variability in the two factors is different. F-Test Two-Sample for Variances analysis reveals that there is significant impact of economic and socio-cultural factors on women entrepreneurship The results of the study indicates the personal characteristics of women entrepreneurs which affect their performance .It also shows that lack of financial access, stiff competition, inadequate access to training, access to technology and access to raw materials are the key economic factors that affect the performance of women entrepreneurs. Based on the major findings, recommendations were suggested to existing and potential entrepreneurs, Micro finances and other institutions. Both the government organizations and private sector have a major responsibility to promote entrepreneurship development for women. Without their interventions the advancement of women and women entrepreneurship cannot be achieved.

The present study aims at finding interpretations for some inquiries in the field of encyclopedic semantics. It is an academic reflection of language exchange between English and Arabic which is one of the most prevalent interests of the recent cognitive linguistic researches. Particularly, it analyzes the way culture-specific words of two different languages can comparatively be understood. The single-method is adopted for the methodological approach of the study. The data collection is conducted according to a content analysis by extracting some CSWs that are referred to in some comparative culture-specific studies of English and Arabic. It is found that (1) there can be more than one domain matrix for equivalent CSWs; (2) the exact comparison between CSWs lies in the profile-base organization (3) the two or multi-dimensional domains are configurational; (4) the culture-specific standards locate the diversity between the domain matrixes of equivalent CSWs. Some key conclusions to draw is that (1) the domain matrix of a CSW depends on to the culture-specific norms; (2) the distinctive point of the tripartite (profile, base and concept) is the profile rather than the base; (3) image-schematic domains indicate the object material domains; (4) culture-specific norms are affected by religious and historical factors which control the inventory knowledge for the CSWs.

The purpose of this paper is to examine whether Benjamin Zephaniahs famous poem Talking Turkeys can be labeled an animal protectionist or an animal anti-protectionist poem. Using natural and utilitarian theories of animal rights defenders, the paper argues that in the human animal relationship, the humans are the cause of the problem in the relationship not the animals and that they will benefit more if they make animals their friends. At the end of the study it has been found out that when one reads the poem Talking Turkeys, one unique vocabulary labels Benjamin Zephaniah as an animal protectionist who shows his admiration for animals which prompts his anthropomorphism towards them as well as his pointing of accusing fingers at us humanspatriarchy for being the cause of the animal suffering and killing. The poet advocates friendship with animals to replace our killing and eating their fleshmeat. On the contrary he advocates we become vegansvegetarians implicitly when he urges us to feed turkeys with green and beans. He reminds us that turkeys have rights, feel pain and have mums, associations which we should join and they should not be artificially manufactured and should also be allowed to enjoy Christmas like receiving gifts and listening to good music. Humans we are told spoiled Christmas.

At the end of the 19th century, a certain amount of work was done to record, collect and popularize Uzbek folklore, including scholars studying oriental studies, local history, geography, archeology and other areas in Turkestan, as well as educational work. They translated folk legends, legends, fairy tales, proverbs and sayings, the songs they heard or wrote, often translated them into Russian and published them in periodicals, including them in their studies, literary and journalistic works, and travel notes. One of the specialists who contributed to the collection of folk art, in particular fairy tales, proverbs and songs, is the famous orientalist, ethnographer Nikolai Petrovich Ostroumov. The article analyzes the folkloristic activities of the orientalist N.P. Ostroumov based on the recordings of Uzbek folk ritual songs stored in the Central State Archives of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This descriptive research paper was conducted to find out the level of cellphone usage and the English academic performance of the AB English students of the Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College, Estancia, Iloilo. The respondents were the 46 AB English students, 16 of which were the first year and 30 were the fourth year AB English students enrolled in the first semester AY 2018-2019, classified according to sex and year level. The statistical tools used were mean, frequency counts and percentage, t-test, Pearson r. The researcher made questionnaire underwent the validity and reliability testing. Researcher made questionnaire were classified into two parts: Part I, the personal data sheet which include the questions name, sex and year level. Part II has 30 item-cellphone usage questionnaire. It was generally found out that AB English students have always level of cellphone usage. In view of these findings, it can be concluded that the level of cellphone usage of the AB English students when taken as an entire group was always but when classified as to sex, female always used their cellphone while males used their cellphones sometimes. The study also showed that first year AB English students have sometimes level of cellphone usage while the fourth year AB English students always used their cellphones. The study further revealed that both male and female including the first and fourth year AB English students was good in their academic performance. Thus, no significant differences existed in the level of cellphone usage and academic performance; however significant difference existed in the level of cellphone usage and academic performance of AB English students when they were classified as to year level. Finally, study revealed that no significant relationship between the level of cellphone usage and English academic performance of the AB English students of the Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College.

This article examines the widespread use of lexical and expressive means in proverbs to express their nationality and convey their meanings more clearly. This article discusses syntactic peculiarities of proverbs. Widely using of expressive means in proverbs let us to give their meanings more brightly. The syntactic features of proverbs are supported by lexical and euphonic expressive means. The artistic form of proverbs has evolved over the centuries. F.I. The deforestation process that occurs in Riau is very worrying, forest and land fires are proof that environmental management and utilization are no longer reliable. These forest and land fires are proven to involve companies involved in the cultivation and utilization of forest products. For this reason, the corporation must be criminally responsible because UUPPLH No. 32 of 2009 has recognized the corporation as the subject of criminal law. Efforts to hold companies accountable arent easy — many companies actually stop investigations because they dont have enough evidence. Therefore, the author wants to know the criteria of corporations that are said to commit forest and land fire crimes, as well as how the form of criminal accountability. This research method uses normative legal methods and sculptural approaches that are approaches through legislation. The results of the investigation, the criteria of the corporation to commit the crime of forest and land fires if it meets the elements in the preparation of articles of forest and land fires, namely land clearing by burning and exceeding environmental quality standards. The violation is committed by a person for work or other relationship reasons within the scope of the business entity. If the crime is committed by, for, or on behalf of a business entity, it shall be considered a corporate act. The form of corporate criminal liability in the criminal act of forest and land fires is preliminary, because the error lies with the corporate administrator (director) who is the mastermind or owner of control of the companys operational activities (Director Mind). Because in PP No. 4 of 2001 Article 13 that the director as the person in charge of all commercial activities whose business can cause damage and environmental pollution must comply with government regulation No. forest and land fires.

The collaboration between universities and industry is trending these days thanks to the myriad of benefits that it brings to both parties involved. The impact of this cooperation allows both companies and universities to rely on each other in terms of creating mutual value over time. This paper will discuss the actual reality of this interdependent relationship based on the statistics collected from a research survey, as well as its standing in the role of supporting lifelong learning towards university lecturers. The popularity of university-industry collaboration has provided undeniable advantages to both the academics and companies. However, to aim for a more sustainable development, a clear mechanism and expansion to support society and lecturers lifelong learning is much needed. Incorporating lifelong learning of lecturers is a challenge and necessity for lecturers, in order to enhance their professionalism, update and deepen their knowledge through professional development. Within the scope of this article, based on an overview of the content of the cooperation between enterprises and universities related to lifelong learning of lecturers, the authors draw a number of lessons to promote university- industry relationships, while improving lifelong learning for lecturers.

Poverty in Bandung regency experienced a significant decline with figures reaching 1.01% from 2016 to 2018, where this decrease is in line with the implementation of the Integrated Social Protection System called Sistem Layanan Rujukan Terpadu SLRT and Pusat Kesejahteraan Sosial Puskesos. Through this system the Bandung regency government seeks to be able to provide integrated social protection to the community by improving the quality of life of the poor. This article aims to explain integrated social protection for the poor in Bandung Regency, West Java through the SLRT and Puskesos. This study used a qualitative method that uses to describe the process of implementing social protection in an integrated manner. The results showed that social protection efforts for the poor were through integrated social protection system carried out by implementing five aspects of services, such as one stop service, partnerships, service mechanisms programs, case management, and information systems interventions.

The article considers the key aspects for implementation of a university program on poly multiculturalism for future teachers of foreign languages (FL), teachers instructor of languages for specific purposes (LSP), lecturers and teachers of translation, aiming at the practical value. The two concepts polycultural education and multicultural education are differentiated it is substantiated that more research is required and the clarifications are to be introduced among academics locally and globally as the mentioned concepts and relevant labels in terminology are misused confused in the research works laid out in Ukrainian and Russian. Next, the course Poly multiculturalism for future teachers of foreign languages aims at mastering pedagogical innovations in the field of poly multicultural education, development of students ethnocultural competence and pedagogical creativity, respectively. The purpose of the optional specially designed is to form students ideas about cultural pluralism as an objective social reality and nurture such ideas in support for everyday communication inside and outside the classroom. It is found relevant to single out the following course objectives to develop poly multicultural and ethno-pedagogical competences of students who are training to become FL teachers instructors, LSP teachers instructors, translation lecturers, philologists, translators, etc to form the students’ ability in future to conduct professional activities in a poly multicultural environment, taking into account the peculiarities of the socio-cultural situation of development to keep developing the students ability to use in professional activities the basic development laws of the modern social and cultural environment. It is specified that the course designs the cornerstones by highlighting the relevance in the modern global and educational environment aim and objectives the contents the structure and the methodology of the course. It is concluded that the research findings contribute to good practices of designing and developing university curricula from a practiceoriented perspective and help bring quality change to the modern educational space.

With its negative psychological, economic, and social effects, student delinquency is one of Irans most critical social issues; Iran has a young population in terms of population structure. The purpose of this article is not to search for the causes of studentdelinquency, in cases such as theft, vandalism and violence, in the whole of Iran, but to focus on the city of Sari to conduct such studies in other major cities, to comment on the community or Provide thighs. This study used a combined theoretical framework (general theory of crime) consisting of social connection and self-control theories. The findings of this study show that adolescents with poor self-control have poor social bonds and commit more crimes.

This study aimed to analyze the legal protection arrangements in Indonesia for privacy rights in cases of personal data leakage and to examine the urgency of the establishment of the Personal Data Protection Law as an effort to prevent personal data leakage. This study used a normative juridical research approach, the type of data was secondary data with data collection techniques in the form of library research and documentation studies. The results of this study are that the privacy right gets legal protection in Indonesia through Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, also regulated in its implementing regulations, namely Government Regulation Number 71 of 2019 and Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 20 of 2016. The regulation has not been able to overcome the rampant cases of privacy rights violations and has not been able to protect the owner of personal data. The stipulation of a personal data protection law as an effort to combat the leakage of personal data is an urgent matter to meet the demands of information disclosure in government institutions and protect individual rights concerning collection, processing, maintenance, dissemination of personal data.

Estancia is well-known throughout the country as a commercial fishing center, so much so that it shares the name Alaska of the Philippines. It is located in the northern part of the province and is 131 kilometers (81 mi) from the provincial capital, Iloilo City. Estancia is politically subdivided into 25 barangays. According to the 2015 Census, it has a population of 48,546 people. This accounted for 2.51% of the total population of Iloilo province, or 0.64 percent of the Western Visayas regions total population. As technology advances, so do the hectic schedules that leave little time for household chores. Aside from tasks, there are other aspects of our everyday lives that are significant. People dont have enough time to take care of their homes, so hiring a housekeeper can assist. Many families place too much emphasis on word-of-mouth referrals and basic background employment. This project will be carried out in order to create a profiling system for all household workers in the twenty-five barangays of Estancia, Iloilo. A repository for all documents pertaining to household workers. The system can help to reduce the prevalence of scams, provide homeowners with security, and make it simple for them if a household worker causes trouble with their family. As a result, having a Household Workers Profile System is the smartest way to deal with a household workers issues and information. The Household Worker Profile System a system that provides an accessible and user-friendly interface. The proposed web-based program has features such as household worker past and present job history and remarks towards their work, there will be a feature that gives reviews or ratings of a household workers performance. The Household Workers Profile System was made to run and locally hosted inside the Barangay Hall. It was created in a web-based environment that can be accessed through a web browser. The n-tier architectural design was used as the systems framework, which can be launched in a client-server environment. The findings showed that the developed system could provide electronic profiling in real-time. The features, according to the respondents, were operational, user-friendly, and fully functional.

Education is the backbone of a country and it contributes towards economic development by enhancing individual’s market value. Therefore, learners’ achievement in learning and the factor influencing it such as application of learning strategies must be focused on in order to develop high market value among learners. The focus of this study is to review learning strategies that influence learning outcomes. This paper explores the meaning of learning strategies by various researchers. At the same time, it also explores the relationship between dimensions of learning strategies towards learning outcomes and the dimensions are believed to be capable of affecting academic performance. It is concluded that suitable and good learning strategies can lead towards successfulness in learning and academic performance. The findings of previous researchers are also included to support the arguments used in this study.

The health budget that should be used to build public health is actually used to enrich oneself and others which can result in poor service and quality of public health. Meanwhile, one of the basic problems related to business competition in Indonesia is the process of procurement of government goods/services. In the process of procuring government goods and services, some believe that there are still many practices of conspiracy to determine the winner in a tender. This clearly contradicts the principles and mechanisms that have been regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 12 of 2021 concerning Government Procurement of Goods Services and Law No. 5 of 1999 concerning Government Procurement. KPPU was formed based on the mandate of Law Number 5 of 1999. The purpose of this paper is to examine the extent to which the limitations and powers of the KPPU are related to the handling of cases of tender conspiracy which have implications for criminal acts.

Learning second language (L2) vocabulary can be a challenge for L2 students. As researchers and TEFL practitioners, we perpetually strive to seek ways to help our students with necessary linguistic tools to be ultimately both productive and resourceful. Moroccan EFL students in L2 are able to use learning strategies, which are valued in the school system, in order to, among other things, expand their vocabulary knowledge for the purpose of being able to communicate verbally and non-verbally. It is complex, however, to determine to what extent these strategies are used. In fact, very few studies have emphasized vocabulary learning strategies. Therefore, this study is of interest to Moroccan university students so as to determine which strategies to use, how often, and whether their use has an impact on students’ vocabulary growth.

This study aimed at exploring the possible underlying reasons for low speaking proficiency of EFL learners through adopting a qualitative methodology. To approach its goal, this study used a semi-structured interview to collect in-depth details from three EFL learners and one university professor. The internal construction of the interview was associated with the following four items; student, teacher, English materials or textbooks, and the assessment practices used inside classrooms. The findings of this study shed some light on multiple components related to teaching methods, teachers centered approach, students’ motivation, unauthentic English materials. This study recommended further investigation using quasi-experiments to explore more what causes this low speaking performance as well as to propose some valid suggestions and recommendations to develop EFL speaking.

This study assessed the class level differences in stress experiences and coping strategies among undergraduate students in Ghana. The study employed a descriptive survey design. Simple random sampling technique was used to select 265 undergraduate students out of the 846 student population in the Department of Education and Psychology. The research instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire entitled Stress Experiences and Coping Strategies (SECS). Means and standard deviations were used to analyse the research questions. The findings revealed that common stress experiences varied, with lack of social contact with students of other faculties in the University as the most common stress experienced among the respondents. Also the most commonly used coping strategy was having enough rest. Based on the findings, it was recommended that the University should champion and promote inter-faculty, social and academic programmes and activities that would enable students to interact, socialize and build rapport among themselves.

Sociological juridical research type with a descriptive analytic approach. The data taken consists of secondary data, in the form of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. In addition, as an analysis material, primary research data obtained from Jati Asih District was also used for the period of March 2020 December 2020, where it is known that there are still many people who do not understand how to treat the bodies of patients infected with the COVID 19 virus. due to the absence of binding regulations regarding the handling of the bodies of COVID19 patients and the lack of public knowledge regarding the handling of the bodies of patients infected with this virus. So that there is a need for binding regulations regarding the burial process of the bodies of COVID19 patients.

This is an introductory investigation of English listening challenges of Saudi EFL learners. This study attempts to find out the underlying reasons that cause Saudi EFL learners to end up with low English listening performance as it is indicated in the annual reports of ETS educational company. This study follows a qualitative methodology since it seeks in-depth details through implementing a semi-structured interview. The participants were totally four; a) three Saudi EFL learners, and b) one professor. This study founded that the proposed main reasons that can cause Saudi EFL learners to perform poorly in listening performance exams are related to students, English language teachers, curricula, and assessment practices.

According to him, the source of cognition (pramana is a mental mode (antahkaranavrtti). It removes the ignorance of the object. Brahmakara antahkaranavrtti is the final mental mode. In Advaita epistemology there is a gradual unfolding of mental mode. Sankara advocates three levels of reality- the transcendental reality, empirical reality and apparent reality. All objects, Sankara holds, are real in their own levels of existence. His philosophy teaches us the gradual unfolding of reality.

Timber forests have many functions and play an essential role in human life. This means that the existence of timber forests provides many benefits for human life. Economic development activities actively implemented throughout the province of West Kalimantan have resulted in more and more areas of timber forest and rubber plantation areas being converted into oil palm plantations. The rampant development of oil palm plantations carried out by investors and those carried out independently by each resident, in essence, provides a significant enough job opportunity for the population in each area that continues to grow. Job opportunities created through economic development offer opportunities to every working population to earn income, fulfilling various life needs is mainly directed to fulfilling family nutritional consumption. If the familys nutrition is guaranteed, then the average life span of the population can be longer. In addition to meeting his familys needs, this income can also be used to finance childrens education belonging to the school-age group. If the income earned by each family is large enough, then the family should be able to live in prosperity. This means that timber forest and rubber plantation areas privately owned by the community have been converted into oil palm plantations, significantly contributing to the economic growth of districts/cities in West Kalimantan province and improving the communitys welfare.

In this study, the relationship between psychiatric symptoms and the use of mental services among 18-29-year-old adults was examined. Data were collected from the 18-29 aged men and women whos participated in the TURBAHAR study. Psychological symptoms, attachment, alexithymia, personal well-being, and positive-negative mood levels of the participants were examined for the research. According to the regression analysis, it was found that smoking and alcohol use, depression, personal well-being, and hostility levels significantly predicted the psychiatric status of both women and men. In addition, it was found that negative self-esteem and somatization levels predicted the use of mental health services among women. The results showed that more psychological factors were affecting the use of mental health services for women compared to men. The findings are expected to contribute to the structuring of services for men and women in terms of the utilization of mental health services based on gender differences.

Narcotics crime is one of the extraordinary crimes. In addition to the negative impact it causes, the disclosure of narcotics crimes is not easy because it is transnational in nature, is carried out in secret, organized, uses various modus operandi and uses advanced technology. Therefore, the Law on Narcotics regulates investigative techniques that can be used to uncover narcotics crimes, one of which is an undercover buy investigation technique. However, this technique sometimes also leaves its own problems in its implementation. The objective of this study is to identify and explain the various constraints faced by the Public Prosecutor in proving aspects of criminal responsibility for narcotics criminals, especially those carried out with the undercover buy technique. This paper using a normative research type through a statutory approach and a case approach. This study explains that the Public Prosecutor still has problems in proving aspects of criminal responsibility for narcotics criminals, both from internal and external factors. The constraints from internal factors was that the Public Prosecutor was not careful in checking the completeness of the formal. Meanwhile, external factors, namely investigators did not provide actual information regarding the completeness of the material submitted in the first stage of file submission. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the regulation and coordination between law enforcement officers in terms of proving the accountability aspects of narcotics criminals using undercover buy techniques.

The purpose of the study is to provide government input on the implementation of economic policies in the face of the US China trade war in the context of Non Military Defense. Research with qualitative methods is aimed at understanding social phenomena from the perspective of the participants. The results achieved are in accordance with the theory of Policy Implementation related to Resources, Communication, Disposition and Bureaucratic Structure, a strategy is needed to revamp the bureaucratic structure and recalculate budget resources.

This article informs about political activities of Sultan Abusayid, the ruler of Temurids Empire, his struggle for the throne of Samarqand, military, political and embassy relations on the issue of Western Iran and Azerbaijan regions with representatives of Aqquyuns dynasty Hasanbek and Qaraquyuns Jahanshah. The role and importance of the territories of Western Iran and Azerbaijan[1] in the Temurid kingdom were both politically and economically important. The essence of the Sultanates military-political relations with local principalities and various ethnic groups in these regions are not only to control Western Iran and Azerbaijan, but also to be seen from time to time as a place where conflicting political and economic interests of major powers should collide.

This study aims to determine: (1) The difference in the effect of live demonstration and video demonstration exercise models on the biomechanics performance of court tennis service, (2) Differences in the performance of tennis service biomechanics between players who have high and low eye-hand coordination, (3) Effect of interaction between exercise model and eye-hand coordination on the performance of tennis service biomechanics. This study used an experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The population in this study were all 12 players of the male KKO SMPN 1 Surakarta. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, the size of the sample taken is 12 players. The data analysis technique in this study used ANOVA. Before being tested with ANOVA, first using the prerequisite test of data analysis with sample normality test (Lilliefors test with = 0.05 %) and homogeneity test of variance (Bartlett test with = 0.05 %). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded as follows: (1) there is a difference in the effect of live demonstration and video demonstration exercise models on the performance of tennis service biomechanics. The effect of the live demonstration exercise model is better than the video demonstration exercise model, (2) there are differences in the biomechanics performance of court tennis service between players who have high and low eye-hand coordination. The biomechanics performance of court tennis services on players who have high eye-hand coordination is better than players who have low eye-hand coordination, (3) there is an interaction between training models and eye-hand coordination on the biomechanics performance of court tennis services. Players who have high eye-hand coordination are more suitable if given a live demonstration exercise model. Players who have low eye-hand coordination are more suitable if given a video demonstration exercise model.

We have recognized the richness of historical and cultural monuments of Zarafshan and Kashkadarya oasis because of archeological excavations in the region. The article deals with the archeological excavations carried out by researchers of the Samarkand Institute of Archeology and researchers of Samarkand State University in the early medieval monuments of Central Sughd.

Almost every major world religion and tribal spiritualities light plant parts in worship to seek greater connection to the divine. Incense is defined as a material that is burned to produce an odour which is also referred to as the perfume itself that is produced from the burning of plant. Many people light incense sticks in their homes just for the sweet smell and the ability it has to transform space. Others too in our world today may have a stigma connecting incense sticks and illegal drug use. Many of us who have been Catholics may have witnessed the swinging of censers, filling the Church with sweet-smelling resins. The tradition of using incense in the liturgy goes back to ancient Hebrew worship, as recorded in the Psalms: Let my prayer be set forth in Thy sight as the incense (Ps 141:2). Incense as often used as part of a purification ritual seems to have lost its symbolisms and proper use of it in the Church as well as the decline of its use. The real problem here is that many faithful hardly know the real reason and purpose why incense is an important part of the Catholic Mass. Do people fully understand the use and symbolism of incense during the liturgical celebrations? Do the traditional use of incense offers some opportunities or challenges in the Church liturgical rites? The purpose of this study is to investigate, stimulate and sensitize the Church and all the Christian faithful of the symbolism of incense which have become optional or none use and to take effective action in reclaiming the lost symbolism and proper use of incense. Perhaps a better understanding of the traditional use of incense may help or enhance the use and importance of the symbolism of incense in our liturgical celebrations. Maybe some elements found in the traditional use of incense, the Sacred Scripture and the Churchs practice may enrich and recover the lost symbolism of incense. And may be by organizing Liturgical Seminarsworkshops to seminarians and young religious in formation houses it may address the essential elements in the way incense is use.

Based on isomorphic considerations, this paper attempts to establish an entrepreneur as complex adaptive system, which is one of the concepts that appear prominently in the field of complexity sciences. The attempt to equate the notion of an entrepreneur with the idea of a complex adaptive system, presupposes recognition of the entrepreneur’s role in adaptive agency. Along with this recognition, comes the convenience of contextualizing the concepts of phase transitions and bifurcation points in terms of venture emergence. The dynamics of these concepts are however more commonly explored within the workings of complex or dynamic physical systems. Yet, the broad applicability of the underlying ideas offers the possibility of identifying similar concepts in biological systems and by extension, the field of entrepreneurial cognition and behavior. Thus, the paper adopts an interdisciplinary approach and employs retroductive reasoning in the assemblage of relevant ideas, sought from diverse literary sources. The outcome is a conceptual framework, which presents certain propositions that offer implication for action.

This research aim to determine the regional finance management arrangements for the assets of regional public company originating from separated regional assets and the constraints in the execution of assets of Perumda BPR Bank Salatiga. This research uses normative research. The research was conducted by library research using secondary data, while the tool used was document study. The data that has been collected is analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the Regional Financial Management of Regional Public Company (Perumda) assets is the authority and responsibility of the Regional Government represented by the Regional Head who is the owner of capital as well as the owner of Perumda and Barriers in the execution of the seizure of the assets of Perumda BPR Bank Salatiga because there is Article 50 of Law No. 1 of 2014 concerning the State Treasury which prohibits the execution of assets belonging to the region.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most common neurodevelopmental disorder in childhood, characterized by inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. Recognizing and diagnosing ADHD in children is mostly during the school period. ADHD negatively affects childrens skills necessary for academic success and social adaptation in the school environment. ADHD symptoms are at the forefront of the situations in which the child, not only the parents but also the teachers, directs the family to seek treatment or help. ADHD appears to affect 5-10% of children and 4.4% of adults worldwide. ADHD is a genetically inherited disease that emerges with the effect of genetic factors. For this reason, problems may arise in family functions when there is more than one person with ADHD at home. In this study, DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, models developed for the diagnosis of adult ADHD and what families can do when living with ADHD are shared.

This study determined the English Language Proficiency and School Performance in English as well the school performance as a whole. The respondents of the study were both English teachers and grade 10 students in the national high schools in the fifth district of Iloilo, using the descriptive comparative approach. Findings of which served as basis for the enhancement of the existing English manual used in English 101 for the improvement of English language proficiency of the students enrolled in the said subject. Generally, seventy percent of the student and teacher respondents were female. Teachers’ Level of English language proficiency has a significant effect on the level of proficiency of students which has a direct relationship on the school performance. It was also found out that teachers’ performance has no significant relationship with the students’ performance in English and school performance as a whole. Further, student–respondents performance has a significant relationship with their level of English language proficiency which has a direct effect on the school performance as a whole. The English teachers’ performance is related to their English proficiency level, but not associated with the students’ performance in English and school performance. However, the English teachers’ level of English language proficiency significantly affects the students’ level of English proficiency, while the students’ performance has a significant effect on their level of English language proficiency, affecting the school performance as a whole. Enhancement of the English language manual that will be used in English 101 (Study and Thinking Skills) must be adopted. Training & Development Program Design for the Enhancement of English Teachers language Proficiency must be implemented.

The type of research used is called R&D or research and development methods that refer to the 4-D model with the following stages: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data was delivered descriptively to analyze the feasibility of the developed practicum module and an assessment rubric for student practicum reports to determine the improvement in students reporting skills. Validation questionnaires were given to Content experts and media design experts, while field trial questionnaires were given to physics teacher colleagues and students. The validation results of content experts and media design experts are classified in the feasible criteria by obtaining a score of 3.85 for Content expert validation and 3.56 for media design expert validation. Moreover, the results of the development trial received a score of 3.81 from peer validation which was classified in the feasible criteria. The student responses obtained a score of 3.82, which was classified in the interesting criteria. The results of the n-gain test have received a value of 0.63, which was classified in the fair criteria. Based on these data, the researcher concluded that the developed KPS-based physics practicum module is feasible and can improve students reporting skills.

This research intended to comprehend the virtual self-image formation process by adolescents and the factors that could support self-image formation on Instagram social media. The subjects from this research were late adolescents who used Instagram actively. The research method used was a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Then, the primary technique used in this research was a semi-structured interview technique. The result obtained indicated that the respondents wanted to show content that was considered interesting enough to be seen by others by showing things that the respondents thought became the strengths they had. The respondents were also pleased if they got positive comments on every shared content; it made the respondents respond back to the comments given. The personal branding done by the respondents on Instagram made an increasing existence of each respondent’s self and added the confidence to upload content on Instagram. According to the research results, it can be concluded that the respondents can fulfill aspects of self-image, i.e., appearance, behavior/attitude, mindset and emotional, overall personality, self-confidence, and self-representation, by displaying a positive image in each shared content. As for the factors that influence the self-image-building process consist of experience, exposure, education, environment, and use frequency.

The study investigates the effect of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on corporate performance using Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc. and United Bank for Africa Plc. asa study. Data were obtained from annual financial statement published by the bank from 2010 -2016.Corporate performance was proxied by Return on Equity, Return on Asset and Earnings per Share. The ordinary least square regression technique with the aid of the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) version 21were employed in the analysis. Findings revealed that ICT has a very weak (low) effect on corporate performance measured with return on equity, almost no effect at all on corporate performance measured with return on assets, and positive effect on corporate performance measured with earnings per share. Therefore the study recommends that; there is need for the bank management team to prioritize the ICT need of the bank to avoid unnecessary investment on ICT gadgets in order to reduce the cost associated to ICT operations of the bank. Also, staff training and development are paramount to enable the effective and efficient utilization of the ICT resources. Furthermore, government should rise up to her duty to provide enabling environment for the thriving of businesses.

The article highlights the relations between Bukhara Khanate and India during Ashtarkhanids’ period. Particularly, the role of a valuable manuscript “Silsilat al-Salatin” written by Haji Mir Muhammad Salim from Ashtarkhanids discloses political negotiations between the two countries, their attemptsto strengthen the relations, the activities of ambassadors and the purposes of their missions. Besides, the correspondences of the rulers and the issues raised in them have been studied. Main focus is drawn to the comparison of information in “Silsilat al-Salatin” with other sources and the outcomes on the study are given in the article.

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of a number of works of domestic and foreign linguists in which approaches to language learning in a pragmatic aspect are defined. As a result of generalization of various approaches of researchers, the author revealed the main task of pragmatics, which consists in establishing the patterns of the use of linguistic means for the purpose of directed influence on the addressee in the communication process. Within the framework of P. Grices theory, implicatures are considered as conversational or communicative, as well as conventional. At the same time, the metaphorical interpretation is analyzed within the framework of the theory of speech acts. The role of euphemistic units involved in the formation of a certain, predetermined by the addressee, evaluative opinion is shown. The article reveals the potential of the study of precedent phenomena in a pragmatic aspect. The key problems of linguopragmatics are analyzed: connotations and additional (background) information as a necessary component of communication.

The article analyzes the heritage of Avesto from a philosophical point of view and gives a philosophical interpretation of the role of myths. At the same time, special attention is paid to the perception of the structure of the world. The ideas and philosophy of Avesto that have come down to us show that our ancestors who lived in the Zoroastrian era had a high level of worldview and thinking. Even in these distant times, our ancestors are struck by the fact that the deepest thinking, attitude to nature, existence, integrity and integrity of the universe, nature and human dignity, as well as the preservation of the Motherland are the main tasks of mankind.

Social Judgment Theory can be a useful tool in understanding the ways in which judgment plays a role in how Child Protective Investigators determine if a child has been neglected. In most States, more children are removed by charges of ‘neglect only’ than for any other reason. A close examination of the States’ definitions of childhood neglect may offer insight as to how the writing of laws allows for discernment among case workers and further how their judgment is impacted by their own personal beliefs. In an effort to ensure child safety and prevent future traumas, the utilization of Social Judgment Theory should be considered in the social and psychological research of child welfare. Varying definitions of how neglect may propose a new variable in the differing outcomes of child removal between the states are discussed.

The article examines the negative externalities of social capital in the sustainability of smallholder irrigation farming. Smallholder irrigation farming has become one of the main sources of rural livelihood in Zimbabwe given the deficiencies in rainfall triggered by climate change among other factors. The establishment of smallholder irrigation schemes, refurbishment of irrigation infrastructure, introduction of new technology and the subsidization of farm inputs are several initiatives taken by the government of Zimbabwe, Non-Governmental organisations and the private sector to improving agricultural productivity among smallholder irrigation schemes. Despite these efforts, smallholder irrigation farming has remained unsustainable. Resultantly, most rural communities in Zimbabwe continue to face hunger and poverty, two overarching sustainable development goals (SDGs 1 & 2) one and two. This study examined the negative externalities of social capital on efforts to improve productivity and sustainability of Rozva smallholder irrigation scheme. The article argues that linking social capital, which includes partnerships between Rozva irrigation farmers and donor agencies, has created dependency syndrome that is inimical to the sustainability of the irrigation scheme. The article concludes some social connections detrimental to the sustainability of the scheme tend to create divisions among farmers. The article argues there is need for awareness on negative externalities of social capital and reduce these effects on the sustainability of the smallholder irrigation to realise social capital benefits among irrigation farming communities in Zimbabwe.

Law enforcement efforts should begin to consider and make victims as parties who have an interest in the judicial process. Victims of criminal acts so far have not received enough attention in an effort to fight for justice. The things that are considered and considered include legal certainty, expediency and justice. Legal certainty is closely related to the guarantee of protection to the community against arbitrary actions aimed at public order, while expediency is to create the greatest benefit or happiness to the community, while justice is truth, impartiality, can be accounted for and treats every human being at the same time. equal position before the law (equality before the law). Likewise, the judicial review institution as part of an extraordinary effort in enforcing the law should also be based on these three objectives. On the other hand, the unaccommodated or unaccommodated interests of the victims in the legal provisions encourage interpretations that lead to the defence of interests and justice for the victims, even though in the end it is considered contrary to the law. On this basis, reforms or formal legal reforms summarized in the Criminal Procedure Code, especially in the discussion on review, should be carried out immediately. Of course, these reforms must make the Criminal Procedure Code better and able to accommodate various problems that have not been accommodated so far. This new formal legal provision can later annul conflicting legal provisions between PERMA, the Constitutional Courts Decision and so on. In addition, it is hoped that the new KUHAP will also be able to end the pros and cons and confusion regarding the submission of a judicial review that has so far occurred in a criminal justice process.

This article aims to analyze the legal aspects of the traffic polices police in handling the covid-19 pandemic related to the legal basis of the traffic polices actions and analyze the legal protection of the traffic police who act as the Covid-19 chain breaker. Through normative legal research related to the legal aspects of traffic police actions as a Covid-19 chain breaker. In this study, the author uses a type of research, namely normative legal research. Normative research is research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials from each normative law. The findings from this study include The juridical basis for the traffic police to break the Covid-19 chain is Article 13 of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Police, Law Number 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation, Government Regulation Number 21 of 2020 concerning Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), Decree of the Indonesian National Police Number MAK2III2020 concerning Compliance with Government Policies in Handling the Corona Virus, and Police Telegram Letters. The Traffic Police during Covid-19 acted according to the law in accordance with Article 19 of Law No. 2 of 2002 concerning the Police and Article 10 of Indonesian Republic Police No. 8 of 2009 concerning the Implementation of Human Rights Principles and Standards in Discharging the Duties of the Indonesian National Police.

This study put emphasis on the improvement of the current system used in Estancia National High School for the class advisers, subject teachers, and 4P’s Coordinator for the easy viewing and monitoring student’s attendance. A Short Message Service (SMS) Support, was added as an additional feature to inform parents or guardians that their child was absent. Reports can be printed in real-time. The developmental-descriptive research was employed in this study. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) was used as the model in the software development. The n-tier architectural design was used in development system. Since the developed system would be deployed at the Estancia National High School, the developed system will be applied by the person in-charge in monitoring the attendance of the students, it should provide proper maintenance to keep the system work well. A total of 51 respondents were surveyed as respondents of the study. The data were gathered through survey questionnaires that primarily solicited feedbacks from the respondents using the researchers-made survey instrument. The mean statistic was employed to describe the level of usability, understandability, learnability, and operability. Findings revealed that in terms of understandability, learnability, and operability, the developed system was describe as “Very Good” while its level of performance and efficiency in terms of in terms of time behavior and resource utilization was also described as “Very Good”. The usability features of the developed system was operational, accessible with effectiveness, efficiency, and the performance was appropriate to the need of the users.

This research aims to find out the influence of react learning model on critical thinking skills and creativity skills of millennial high school students 6 Kerinci. This type of research is (quasi-expriment) research with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The study consisted of two classes: a control class and an experimental class. Before the learning process, the activity of reading the Quran and its translation related to student learning motivation. In the experimental class was given the treatment of react plus learning model (innovation, effectiveness of time and teacher as facilitator) and control classes using conventional learning models (lectures). The results showed (1) The value of critical thinking skills of students taught with the REACT model is higher than the critical thinking skills of students taught with conventional learning models in class X MIPA State High School 6 Kerinci. (2) Student learning creativity skills taught with react model are more effective than student learning creativity skills taught with conventional learning models in class X MIPA State High School 6 Kerinci.

This study will analyze the negative impacts of natural resource management in the form of environmental damage and pollution, agrarian conflicts, impoverishment, and neglect of community rights. This is a serious problem that must be resolved. These problems are related to the ineffectiveness of implementing a Regional Regulation (Perda) in the community and the disharmony at the stage of forming a Regional Regulation. This research is a normative juridical law research. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the Law has determined that "every Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) before being stipulated as a Regional Regulation must first be harmonized at the stage of drafting the Raperda". However, at the practical level, there is often a neglect of the harmonization of the Raperda on executive initiatives, this does not only lead to certain legal consequences (procedural defects) but also raises assumptions related to the existence of overlapping powers. As also happened, there is material in the Batang Regency Regional Regulation number 13 of 2019 concerning the Batang Regency Spatial Plan for 2019-2039, especially in article 128 letter i of the Batang Regency Regional Regulation Number 13 of 2019 regarding the 2019 Batang Regency Spatial Plan. -2039 states that "it is forbidden to use groundwater for industrial activities and industrial support activities and direct industrial activities to utilize surface water, contrary to Central Java Provincial Regulation Number 3 of 2018 so that legal harmonization is necessary.

Brand slogan as a part of branding plays a defining role for universities to win fierce competition. It creates emotional bonding and memorability in the mind of potential students and stake-holders. This study investigates words choice and word arrangement used in brand slogans of 100 best universities in Asia 2019 by making use of the Systemic Functional Grammar’s Experiential Metafunction. Results indicate that words most preferred for their brand slogans are patterned and are circled around: “Truth” (4/11%), “Integrity, “sincerity” (each 3/8%), and “Act”, “creating”, “creative”, “diligence”, “excellence”, “global”, and “justice” (each 2/6%); Verb (12/48%), Noun (11/44%), Adjective (1/4%), Prepositional phrase (1/4%). They are structured in Structures of Modification (10/40%), Structures of Complementation (9/36%), word (5/20%), and Structures of Predication (1/4%).

The development of threats and increasing global issues that cannot be handled by the state alone have created a new phenomenon in the international relations order, namely global governance. Previously, the state was the sole actor in the order of international relations. However, with global governance, there is a new arrangement in the international relations system that accommodates all actors who play a role. This research will use a qualitative phenomenological method. The theory used in this research are global governance, defense diplomacy and international organization as a basis theory and concept, and also a security theory as supporting theory. In the end, we can see that the change of international order can bring the positive effect for countries in achieving their national goals and accomplish their national interests.

Myanmar is currently faced with conflicts mainly considered as crimes against humanity that require resolution sooner or later. The conflict in Myanmar is closely linked to ethnicity, creating a cycle of violence that continues to escalate without any possibility of diminishing. The inability of the state to address ethnic minority grievances or provide adequate security to communities has created a literal arms race among minority groups. More action needs to be taken to finally resolve the situation and crisis unfolding in Myanmar, and that is where countries in Southeast Asia play a very important role for conflict resolution. This research was carried out using qualitative method with descriptive analysis regarding to the situation that occurred in Myanmar, especially regarding the Rohingya crisis and the Myanmar Military Coup which was the focus of the research. The escalation of the humanitarian conflict and the deprivation of democracy by the Myanmar people, requires joint handling in order to avoid further expansion of the conflict. In this case, neighboring countries such as Indonesia have an important role as a driver of mediation in regional forums to resolve conflicts in Myanmar. ASEAN, as a diplomatic platform in the Southeast Asian region, must be put forward and reach a consensus for finally intervening in the Myanmar conflict, which is taking more and more lives. The United Nations with the principle of responsibility to protect can also play a role in overcoming the conflict, considering that the conflict has resulted in crimes against humanity that cannot be tolerated.

The increase of China’s power in the region caused security dilemma for other countries. United States is one of major power that feels threatened with the rise of China. United States have a lot of cooperation with other major countries and the newest one is trilateral cooperation with Australia and United Kingdom in AUKUS Pact. AUKUS Pact caused a different reaction from countries in Indo-Pacific region. In the perspective of security dilemma, AUKUS Pact is one of United States’s security dilemma because of the rise of China. The AUKUS Pact point is help Australia to have a nuclear submarines. AUKUS Pact is not an arms race but at some point AUKUS Pact can escalated arms race in Indo-Pacific region.

The Covid-19 outbreak has affected changes in various sectors of life. With this change, of course, every organization needs new strategies, scenarios and leadership and management patterns to overcome all the uncertainties that occur in the Covid-19 pandemic. Government agencies are required to adapt according to dynamic conditions, and must be sensitive to the dynamics of changes that occur including how the implementation of work from home is carried out. For this reason, this research was carried out with the aim to find out how the implementation of work from home of the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Agency (BP2MI) institution in the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research approach used in this research is qualitative methods. The data was obtained through interviews, observations and documentation.

This study aims to evaluate learning media on mathematical literacy towards the achievement of logical thinking skills and determine strategies to build students’ logical thinking skills. The subject in this study were 79 fifth-grade primary school students in Surakarta and Boyolali. The data in this study is quantitative data and qualitative data. The instrument used to collect quantitative data was a mathematical literacy test consisting of five aspects of logical thinking skills that are understanding, planning, determining, solving, and conclusion. The instrument used to collect qualitative data was the scientific journal. The results showed that percentage achievement of students’ logical thinking skills in solving mathematical literacy is understanding (55,82%), planning (51,08%), determining (47,85%), solving (41,52%), and conclusion (31,14%). The data shows that learning media in elementary school could not be building students’ logical thinking skills. One strategy which can be used to build students’ logical thinking skills is through mobile learning integrated ethnomathematics.

With the changing demands of higher quality teaching profession, especially the increasing trend of studying at private universities, many fail to produce desired effects, even when guided by organizational change models. Educational specialists, educators, academics, school administrators, and even scientists have all contributed to the development of change management as a significant concept. The purpose of this study is to apply Kotters 8step model of change to educational administration of private universities in Ho Chi Minh City. Change efforts focus on enhancing faculty capacity to support diverse student success. The change process is planned using Kotters 1996 eightstep change model and is therefore a regulated, linear, sequential change process. The initial steps were reviewed, and the strategies considered workable. This approach enhances faculty acquisition and project success. Characterization of each step provides insight into ways to apply Kotters model of change in higher education settings.

Humanitarian programmes within Africa should be collaborative and integrative in nature, this would easily address the issue of displacement and abandonment, as it shall aid the promotion of the instrumentality of integration within Member states in Africa. Nigeria has over the years played a leading role in Africa affairs based on its foreign policy objectives. The servitude of brotherhood being demonstrated by Nigeria in Africa is a way of uplifting and promoting humanitarian aids in Africa. The problems of displacement of persons, who then becomes refugees in other climes within Africa cannot be overemphasized. People still bear the brunt of the conflict in the north-eastern part of Nigeria, which has resulted in widespread displacement, lack of protection, destruction of infrastructure and collapsed of basic services. The neglect for a concerted effort towards promoting humanitarian services within Africa, has open the doors for the United Nations or International communities to averred that aids and humanitarian services can only be sourced within their domain, thus making African states to be dependent. This study explores the possibilities of enhancing and promoting humanitarian policies in Africa through collaboration and integration. The study further identified areas of neglect in humanitarian services, as policies geared towards humanitarian services has to be sustained, to meet desired objectives. The study employed the secondary data analysis, and adopted the humanitarianism approach. The study recommended that existing humanitarian policies should be strengthened, sustained and adequately implemented to address the issues of humanitarian problems in Africa, while adequate measures are also put in place to monitor its’ implementation.

This study discusses the principle of legality in criminal law from the perspective of fair law enforcement. The formulation of the problem put forward is how to regulate the principle of legality in current criminal law and how the principle of legality in criminal law is currently from the perspective of law enforcement that is just. The conclusion of this study is that the regulation of the principle of legality in criminal law is currently regulated in Article 1 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code which is the principle of formal legality, which requires an act committed to be determined as a criminal act if it is first stated in the legislation that valid at the time the act was committed, from the perspective of fair law enforcement, the legality principle in criminal law currently cannot be used as a basis for carrying out fair law enforcement, because in this legality principle it implies that an act is qualified as a mere criminal act. only based on legislation (written legal regulations). In the opinion of the author, that law enforcement that adheres to the principle of legality can only achieve legal certainty, but has not been able to realize justice. Justice should be realized through law enforcement which is not just formal justice according to the formulation of the law, but also substantial justice, namely justice that is truly in accordance with the sense of community justice based on the living law.

The study aims to analyze the influence of rice production, crop dry grain prices (GKP), rice consumption, per capita income and the number of people moderated by rice prices that impact on farmers well-being. This research method uses a quantitative approach with panel data. The study was conducted in West Sumatra Province in 19 districts cities with secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sumatra Province in 2013 - 2019. Data analysis uses multiple line regression with panel data. Simultaneous and partial research results found that rice production, crop dry grain prices (GKP), rice consumption, per capita income, and population can have a significant and positive effect on rice prices in West Sumatra province. While the impact of rice prices has a significant and negative effect on the welfare of farmers in West Sumatra province. The price of dry grain harvest (GKP) is the main factor that affects the price of rice, where rice consumption is a contributing factor that affects the price of rice. Meanwhile, rice production, per capita income and population, is a variable factor of disruption, because rice consumption is influenced by income purchasing power and the number of family members,and in addition when viewed from the impact, the price of rice has a significant and negative effect on the welfare of farmers.

The aim of the present study was to examine the effect of an online live group program with Greek traditional dances on the self-esteem and anxiety of the participants. The research involved 147 people, 43 men and 104 women, aged 49,73±8,141 years old, members of Cultural Clubs. The participants were randomly divided into the experimental group (N=75) and the control group (N=72). The experimental group participated in online live group lessons of Greek traditional dances, through the online platform ZOOM, twice a week. Each lesson had a 45-minute duration and the program lasted 12 weeks, during the quarantine imposed due to COVID-19. During the same period of 12 weeks, the control group continued its daily life in quarantine. The participants in both groups completed the Heatherton and Polivy (1991) State Self-Esteem Scale to measure performance self-esteem, social self-esteem and appearance self-esteem, as well as the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory-FORM X-1 by Spielberger et al. (1970) for the measurement of state anxiety, before and after the 12-week period. The processing of the data showed that after participating in the online live group program of Greek traditional dances, the participants in the experimental group significantly increased their performance self-esteem (t=-7,75, p<0,001), social self-esteem (t=-5,23, p<0,001), and appearance self-esteem (t=-5,67, p<0,001), but they significantly reduced their state anxiety (t=7,33, p<0,001). Regarding the participants in the control group, after the 12-week period, the studied variables moved in the undesirable direction, as evidenced by the reduction in self-esteem factors and the increase in state anxiety. The results show that participating in Greek traditional dance group programs, which are conducted live online, affects positively the self-esteem and state anxiety of the participants. Consequently, during these difficult health times that the whole world is experiencing, participating in online live group programs of Greek traditional dance may improve the participants’ psychological state, offering at the same time the solution on the one hand to distance oneself from other people and on the other hand to come in contact with people.

In carrying out its duties and functions, the prosecutor is organized in an Institution called the Prosecutors Office of the Republic of Indonesia or can be called the Prosecutors Office. The main task of the Prosecutors Office carried out by the Prosecutor is to prosecute criminal cases. In carrying out the task of prosecution, the Prosecutor is authorized to determine whether or not a case can be brought to court and what article will becharged. The authority of the Prosecutor in resolving criminal cases outside the court that makes the author more tendentious to conduct research. The problem with this research is 1). Bhow are the obstacles to solving criminal cases outside the court by the Prosecutors Office? 2). Is the settlement of cases outside the Court conducted by the Prosecutors Office in accordance with the values of justice? By using the type of normative juridical research it is known that: The Authority of the Prosecutor in the settlement of criminal cases outside the Court can realize the goal of law enforcement, namely justice, legal certainty and usefulness for the community. The settlement of criminal cases outside the court can also realize the ideals of a fast, simple and cheap judiciary and optimize the participation of the community in law enforcement.

The paper investigated the students perceptions of the use of CBT for the conduct of General Studies (GST) examinations in Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. The study employed a descriptive survey design. All the 5600 undergraduate students who sat for GST examinations during the 2019/2020 academic session formed the population of the study. The Israel Model (2013) was used to determine 372 students as the sample size for the study. An instrument titled Students Perceptions of Writing CBT Examination (SPWCBTE) was used for the data collection. The instrument was validated, a pilot study was conducted, and a reliability index of 0.95 was obtained. Results from the study revealed that the students have positive views on the CBT examinations. Some of the problems confronted by students during the examinations, as indicated by the results, include system errors, login issues, and the slow nature of the systems during submission. The study concluded that the students have positive views of the CBT examinations in the university. It was recommended that the university management should be organizing presentations and workshops to promote the CBT system. Majors should be taken to ensure quality assurance and control of the ICT facilities during and after the conduct of examinations.

At a Western Pacific Region school district with six public high schools, district administrators implemented an educational technology training program (ETTP) to improve technology integration in the classroom as measured by the Effective Learning Environments Observation Tool, but there was no follow-up to determine how the teachers perceived the ETTP and to identify the experiences of teachers related to instructional technology after taking the district training. This basic qualitative study, guided by the technology acceptance model, addressed this problem in the district by exploring how the teachers perceived the technology professional development program provided by the district and the teachers experiences related to instructional technology after taking the district training. The purposeful sample included 13 Western Pacific Region high school teachers who were interviewed via Zoom. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis to create codes, categories, and themes. The participants perceived the ETTP as helpful because they learned new tools and increased their confidence in using technology in their classrooms. Results showed that after completing the ETTP, teachers still needed content-specific technology training and continuous professional development. High school teachers expressed the need for these trainings to continue integrating technology using up-to-date technology tools. Rethinking science professional development is one potential form of social change.

Saprahan is an eating tradition that developed in the Malaysia community in the Sambas area. The implementation practice is full of positive values and meanings in describing the identity of the Sambas Malaysia community, which has potential in Indonesian gastro diplomacy. Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the states role in gastro diplomacy through Saprahan at the Temajuk Sambas border. This research is a literature study that focuses on the Saprahan tradition in the Indonesia-Malaysia border area in Temajuk Village, West Kalimantan. The data is obtained through books, journals, and online sources by entering keywords; gastro diplomacy, Saprahan, and Temajuk. The results obtained from the study can be described that specifically, the states role in implementing gastro diplomacy through saprahan at the Temajuk Sambas border has not functioned as gastro diplomacy. However, from a historical point of view, its value and meaning, the saprahan tradition has excellent potential in Indonesian gastro diplomacy efforts in the border area between Indonesia and Malaysia. This is supported by the development of tourism in Temajuk, attracting local tourists to foreign tourists to promote culinarily and eating traditions where the intimate communication space that can be created through the tradition of eating saprahan makes it easier to negotiate and make decisions.

Education is one of the essential components in developing a scholarly society capable of facing the demands and challenges of the twenty-first century. Education policy refers to the principles of government policymaking in the educational sector and the set of laws and norms that govern the operation of the educational system. It focuses on the effects of educational policy decisions and alternatives in the real world. It investigates the link between educational policy and practice. Even though our educational system has shortcomings, we are improving daily. Bangladesh is fully committed to the EFA goals, the Millennium Development Goals, and universal declarations. Every child between the ages of six and eighteen is entitled to free education under Article seventeen of the Bangladesh Constitution. As a result, the National Education Policy 2010 was created using the incremental model of one of the most used public policy frameworks. The government makes incremental public policy decisions based on earlier actions. All of the models functions are divided into distinct groups. Our educational system underwent significant changes over a long period. The incremental models important aspects are time progression and social demand.

The sixteenth century is considered the beginning time of trade activities between Vietnam and Western countries after great geographical discoveries in the world, in which Portugal was the pioneer country to establish trade relations wit h Vietnam. Cochinchina, with many favourable factors in terms of human, geography, and goods, was the place to attract Portugal on the way of exchange and establishment of Intra - Asian marine trade network. Thus, what factors led Cochinchina to a strategic position in this trade network, and Portugal had come here to trade with specific characteristics are, and the consequences of this trade process are, is the purpose of this article. Based on analyzing objective and subjective factors, generalizing and systematizing commercial activities between Cochinchina and Portugal, the author provides objective assessments of the role of Cochinchina in the voyage to The East of the Western countries in the contemporary time.
